Meals On Wheels - Tweed Social Support
Purpose: Our aim is to reduce isolation in our community. We provide assistance to frail aged people, 65 years plus, or 50 years plus if you are from of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island heritage, and younger people with a disability to maintain links with their community.
Activities: Group functions and individual outings (subject to volunteer availability).
Catchment Area: From the Tweed Border, south to Pottsville and west to Terranora and Bilambil.
Cost: the usual cost is $18.00 per outing for both mixed groups and Men's days. Special events may cost more and we will advise this prior to the outing.
If you are receiving Meals on Wheels from Tweed Community Support you are eligible to join us on our Social Support outings. Come along and have some fun.

Mixed Group Outing
A mixed outing each month in a safe setting.

The Men's group is a very popular day out for men only.
Usual Cost: $18.00
These are a fun day out for the Men only.
As a rule we try to hold these days on
the first Tuesday of each month
Balance Improvement - Mixed Outing
These classes are held each Monday morning
The class is followed by morning tea and
you will be home by lunchtime.
The class is run by an exercise physiologist and are held upstairs at the Cudgen Leagues Club
The cost for Balance Improvement is $15.00
